Hi, I'm Nikki!

I am so excited you're here! I'm truly honored that you've taken the time to check out my page, and I can't wait to share some of my favorite travel experiences with you.

My name is Nikki, and I'm a 24-year-old full-time travel advisor with Travel Leaders - Galaxy Travel in the Twin Cities of Minnesota. There are three things I love more than anything else in this world: Jesus, people, and travel. I consider it my greatest privilege to work my dream job, encompassing all three of those things!

I started in the travel industry with Travel Leaders in November of 2024, though my love for travel and my hobby of planning itineraries started long before then. Ever since middle school, I've been drafting dream trips by researching different cities, landmarks, and cultures around the world. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd get to do that for a living one day.

To me, travel is far more than taking a plane to a new destination, seeing all its best-known attractions, and trying its most famous dishes. Travel encompasses all of these things, of course, but to me, that's only the beginning of the draw.

I believe that travel is bigger than any one of us. It's about experiencing the Creator by encountering the beauty He's surrounded us with, whether that's found in nature, an unfamiliar culture, or a single individual we meet along the way. Travel is about growing through the realization that this world is far bigger than me, and every moment I spend here is a gift—an opportunity to know God more deeply and to make Him known. Travel is about storytelling. It's about hearing the stories of those we encounter and being moved by their perspectives, as well as sharing our own stories of hope with those who need it most.

That's what this blog is all about. It's a space to have fun, share my itineraries and recommendations, and inspire your own adventures. More than that, though, it's a place to share what God is teaching me through the places and people I'm privileged to encounter as I explore our big, beautiful world. Whether you're getting ready to travel, dreaming of where you'll head next, or just here for the fun of it, I hope you walk away feeling inspired to see Jesus everywhere you go and in everyone you meet.
